Oslo Street Art

In Oslo, on a lot of the buildings, as far as a human arm can reach, there are spray can scribbles. Some of it I would call graffiti. Some of it looks as though someone was trying to clean out their nozzles.

All of it adds flavor. Some social agency goes about and washes and repaints the buildings....so Oslo is like a massive "etch a sketch"...a cycle of new art is always generated. Maybe that is true of everywhere...But here it's pretty interesting in that it happens so fast. It brings to mind the Tibetan sand mandalas, art ephemera.

Most of the best gems are in hidden spots, so lurking about is a great idea.
